The mop is not as good as it is hyped to be. The suction is not efficient. It leaves the floor wet. It does not remove stains very well.

I have textured vinyl floors in bathrooms that get coated with hairspray. They needed extra scrubbing that a steam mop wouldn't do. This scrubber was perfect! Some people complained they had to run the machine too long to loosen dirt. Here is how I do it: The machine has a trigger that allows you to apply the cleaning solution before the machine is turned on. I go over the floor and apply the solution and let sit for approx. 5 mins. Then I turn the machine scrubber brush on and go over the floor. Then I turn on the suction and suck up the solution and it works amazingly well. I was surprised at the dirty water collected in the used water receptical. There was plenty of power to do three 8 x 12 bathrooms on one charge. It was fast and easy to get going and very easy to clean and put away. The brushes stick down low enough to get into the lowered textured areas well. The quality is surprisingly good for a unit of this price.

The only thing that I could wish for would be a corded unit. Apparently the rechargable battery is not replaceable. If and when the battery no longer holds a charge, this unit is disposed of. This seems like a waste because the unit is certainly built well enough to last years if care is taken. It is also suggested that the unit be kept plugged in so that it is ready for use. So this required dedicating an electrical outlet for this purpose. Otherwise, the machine take about 10 hours to charge. It does have a plastic holding tray so that it may be put away wet and solutions can be left in the cleaing solution tank so that it is ready to go at a moments notice.

It arrived in record time and I am very pleased with it. I would not recommend it to someone wanting to scrub grout because the brush does not stick down low enough to do a good job. For a gently textured floor it is perfect.
